Cut the baguette or ciabatta into slices about 1 centimeter thick. We recommend cutting diagonally. Place the bread slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
½ pc baguette
Place in a preheated oven at 200°C (390°F) for 5-6 minutes (top-bottom mode). During this time, the bread slices will dry out and acquire a golden crust.
While the bread is still warm, rub one side with a clove of garlic. Do this only on the side where we will put the filling.
2 clove garlic
Cut the tomatoes into small cubes. Finely chop the basil with a knife. Peel the garlic clove and then pass it through a press or grate it finely. Add these ingredients to the tomatoes.
2 pcs tomato, 1 bunch basil, 2 clove garlic
Season the filling with salt and pepper to taste, and dress with olive oil. Mix well.
3 tbsp olive oil, 1 pinch salt, 1 pinch pepper
Spread the filling on the bread slices. We recommend serving the bruschetta immediately so that the bread does not get soggy from the juicy filling. Enjoy your meal!
