  • ½ pc baguette
  • 2 pcs tomato
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 1 bunch basil
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper


  • Prepare the necessary ingredients.

  • Cut the baguette or ciabatta into slices about 1 centimeter thick. We recommend cutting diagonally. Place the bread slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  • Place in a preheated oven at 200°C (390°F) for 5-6 minutes (top-bottom mode). During this time, the bread slices will dry out and acquire a golden crust.

  • While the bread is still warm, rub one side with a clove of garlic. Do this only on the side where we will put the filling.

  • Cut the tomatoes into small cubes. Finely chop the basil with a knife. Peel the garlic clove and then pass it through a press or grate it finely. Add these ingredients to the tomatoes.
