Prepare the necessary ingredients.
Mix all dry ingredients: granulated sugar, vanillin, salt, semolina, wheat flour, and baking powder.
85 g semolina, 45 g flour, 90 g sugar, 1 g vanillin, 1 pinch salt, 6 g baking powder
Pour water and refined sunflower oil into the dry ingredients.
½ cup water, 20 g vegetable oil
Mix everything thoroughly with a whisk to make the dough smooth and free of lumps.
Line the bottom and sides of a detachable baking form, 16 cm in diameter, with parchment paper. Pour the dough.
Wash the apple, peel it, remove the core. Then cut into thin slices and lay on top of the dough. If desired, you can also sprinkle the top of the cake with granulated sugar. This will give the pastry a very appetizing golden crust.

Send the cake to an oven preheated to 180°C. Bake for 30—35 minutes. Take the slightly cooled cake out of the form, transfer to a plate, and sprinkle with a small amount of powdered sugar. Enjoy your meal!
