Prepare the necessary ingredients. It is advisable to take quality oat flakes that require cooking. Ideally, of course, 'Hercules' or 'Extra' No. 1. They are made from whole grain, so they contain more fiber. But you can also use any other type of flakes, accordingly, they will cook much faster.
Pour water into a saucepan, add a pinch of salt and bring to a boil. Add the flakes.

Stirring occasionally, cook with the lid closed according to the instructions. For 'Hercules' flakes, the cooking time is about 20 minutes. During cooking, the flakes will swell, and the porridge will thicken.
When the water has almost evaporated and the flakes have become soft, the porridge is ready. If the water evaporates earlier, you need to add a little more water.
Lay out the porridge on a plate. Cut the banana, break the nuts or cut them into pieces.
Put pieces of banana on the porridge, sprinkle with raisins and nuts on top. Drizzle with honey. If desired, raisins can be pre-soaked in boiling water for a couple of minutes or added to the porridge at the end of cooking. The oatmeal is ready. The oatmeal is ready.
