Peel and cut the carrot into small pieces and add it to the skillet. Sauté for another 3 minutes.

Add the ground beef. Cook for 10-15 minutes, depending on the diameter of the skillet. Stir constantly and break up any clumps of meat to achieve a crumbly consistency.

Pour in the white wine and wait a couple of minutes for it to evaporate. Add pepper, oregano, salt. Add the tomato paste.
100 g wine, ½ tsp salt, ⅓ tsp pepper, ⅓ tsp oregano, 3 tbsp tomato paste
Pour 500 ml of water into the skillet and stir until the tomato paste is evenly distributed. Add the bay leaf. Simmer with the lid on for 1 hour over low heat. If too much liquid evaporates, add more water. The sauce should not be too thick.

While the sauce is cooking, fill a pot with cold water, add salt, place it on the stove, and bring to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the instructions. Usually, the cooking time is 10-12 minutes. Then drain all the liquid and rinse the pasta with cold water.
