Prepare everything you need. You can use fresh or frozen cherries.
Grind half of the oatmeal flakes almost to a flour state, and add the rest to the bowl of the food processor. Add cold butter, egg yolk, and a tablespoon of sugar.

Process until you get a thick dough.
For the cottage cheese layer, put cottage cheese in a bowl, break two remaining eggs and add the white from the third, 50 grams of sugar, a tablespoon of cornstarch, and sour cream.

Blend with an immersion blender until you get a smooth cream. It will be quite liquid, and that"s how it should be.
Distribute the oatmeal dough on the bottom of the baking pan, making small borders of 3-4 centimeters.
Pour the cottage cheese mixture. Place in the oven and bake at 150 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes. Leave in the turned-off oven until completely cooled.
Optionally, make a berry layer. Here it is cherry, but you can choose something else to your taste. So, wash the cherries and remove the pits. Put them in a saucepan and add the remaining sugar.
300 g cherrie, 150 g sugar
Bring to a boil. Dissolve cornstarch in 100 ml of water and pour it into the cherries.

Cook for a couple of minutes until thickened. Let it cool.
Remove the cold pie from the baking pan.
Spread the filling on the surface of the cheesecake.
The oatmeal cheesecake is ready.
