  • 150 g sugar

  • 100 ml water

  • Prepare everything you need. You can use fresh or frozen cherries.

  • Grind half of the oatmeal flakes almost to a flour state, and add the rest to the bowl of the food processor. Add cold butter, egg yolk, and a tablespoon of sugar.

  • For the cottage cheese layer, put cottage cheese in a bowl, break two remaining eggs and add the white from the third, 50 grams of sugar, a tablespoon of cornstarch, and sour cream.

  • Blend with an immersion blender until you get a smooth cream. It will be quite liquid, and that”s how it should be.

  • Distribute the oatmeal dough on the bottom of the baking pan, making small borders of 3-4 centimeters.

  • Pour the cottage cheese mixture. Place in the oven and bake at 150 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes. Leave in the turned-off oven until completely cooled.

  • Optionally, make a berry layer. Here it is cherry, but you can choose something else to your taste. So, wash the cherries and remove the pits. Put them in a saucepan and add the remaining sugar.
