Prepare the necessary ingredients. Rinse fresh cranberries with water, remove any debris if present. Dry with a towel. If fresh berries are not available, you can use frozen ones.
Wash the eggs and crack them into a deep dish. Beat with a mixer until fluffy.
2 pcs eggs
In a separate dish, mash room temperature butter with sugar.
150 g sugar, 110 g butter
Add the egg mixture to the butter, add sour cream and mix well.
60 g sour cream
Mix the flour with baking powder. Gradually add to the dough and beat with a mixer until smooth.
180 g flour, 2 tsp baking powder
Line a baking pan with parchment paper. If using a pastry ring, form the bottom with foil. Spread the dough evenly. Wash and peel the apples, remove the core with the seeds, and cut into slices. Insert the apple slices into the dough in a circle, sprinkle with cranberries on top. Press each berry slightly into the dough to secure it.
1 pc apple, 60 g cranberries
Place in a preheated oven and bake for 30-40 minutes at 180 ℃. Do not open the oven during baking. Check for doneness with a match or wooden skewer. If it comes out dry, the pie is ready. Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, and transfer to a plate. The cranberry pie is ready!
