Prepare the necessary ingredients.
Pour boiling water over the raisins. Leave them for 10 minutes.
45 g raisins
In a deep bowl, combine sunflower oil, sour cream, granulated sugar, vanillin (vanilla sugar), cinnamon, salt, and baking powder. Mix thoroughly with a whisk.
50 g sour cream, 75 g sugar, ¼ tsp cinnamon, 50 g vegetable oil, ½ tsp baking powder, 1 g vanillin, 1 pinch salt
Add 175 grams of sifted flour and knead the dough.
225 g flour
Add the steamed raisins (previously dried with paper towels) and carrot, grated on a fine grater, to the dough.
90 g carrot, 45 g raisins
Since the carrot is juicy, the dough becomes sticky after adding it. Therefore, add about 50 grams more flour.
225 g flour
Periodically wetting your hands with water, form balls weighing approximately 50 grams each. Lay them out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spaced apart. Then slightly press down each ball of dough with your palm to make the cookies flat.
Bake the carrot cookies in a preheated 180°C oven for 20-25 minutes.
After cooling, the carrot cookies become crunchy and crumbly. Serve with milk or tea. Enjoy your meal!
