  • 75 g sugar
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon ground
  • 50 g vegetable oil odorless
  • 90 g carrot
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 g vanillin or vanilla sugar – 5 g
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 225 g flour
  • 45 g raisins


  • Prepare the necessary ingredients.

  • Pour boiling water over the raisins. Leave them for 10 minutes.

  • In a deep bowl, combine sunflower oil, sour cream, granulated sugar, vanillin (vanilla sugar), cinnamon, salt, and baking powder. Mix thoroughly with a whisk.

  • Add 175 grams of sifted flour and knead the dough.

  • Add the steamed raisins (previously dried with paper towels) and carrot, grated on a fine grater, to the dough.

  • Since the carrot is juicy, the dough becomes sticky after adding it. Therefore, add about 50 grams more flour.

  • Periodically wetting your hands with water, form balls weighing approximately 50 grams each. Lay them out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spaced apart. Then slightly press down each ball of dough with your palm to make the cookies flat.

  • Bake the carrot cookies in a preheated 180°C oven for 20-25 minutes.
