Cut the bananas into slices about 1.5-2 centimeters thick. Do not make them thinner, otherwise, they will lose their shape quickly when frying.

Pour sugar into the frying pan, add water. Put on the stove, the fire - medium. Stirring by shaking the pan, wait until the sugar dissolves and light bubbles appear.

Then it will become noticeable how the caramel begins to darken from the edges. Here you should intensively rotate the pan so that the mass becomes evenly amber.
Lay out the bananas. Fry on high heat for a minute, mix.
All pieces should 'bathe' in caramel. It is very important not to overdo it so that the bananas do not turn into mush, but only slightly soften.
