Prepare everything you need.
For the yeast dough, place the yeast and sugar in a cup or small bowl. Pour in room temperature milk. Stir until all components are dissolved.
1.5 tbsp sugar, 15 g yeast, 160 ml milk
Pour flour and salt into a bowl, make a well in the center. Pour in the milk with yeast. And vegetable oil (2 tablespoons).

Mix with a fork, then continue with your hands. The dough should be elastic and not sticky. Leave to rise for 30-40 minutes.
For the filling, dice the onions, place on a heated pan with oil and fry until soft. Then add ground beef, pepper.

Fry, breaking up the meat lumps, until the mince lightens. Do not cook completely, as the dish will still be baked in the oven.
Divide the dough into 4 parts. Roll each out into a round flatbread with a diameter of 26-30 cm. Place one on a baking sheet, distribute half of the mince.
Cover with the second half of the dough.
Pinch and turn the edges upwards. Make cuts for the steam to escape. If desired, you can apply a beautiful pattern. Brush with milk or egg, sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Bake in the oven at 160℃ for 25-30 minutes. The Ossetian pie with beef is ready. It can be served immediately or after cooling.
