Muffins with chocolate chips are a real find for chocolate lovers. A tender, soft dessert is prepared very simply and will become a favorite recipe for a sweet tooth. In this recipe, ready-made chocolate drops will be used, but you can also take an ordinary chocolate bar cut into small pieces.
Prepare the necessary ingredients. Butter will be used at room temperature, so it is advisable to put it out of the refrigerator 30-60 minutes before cooking, so that it becomes soft. If there is no way to wait, you can slightly melt it in a microwave oven or in a water bath and cool it down a little. Yogurt must be taken without sugar and flavourings, you can also replace it with low-fat sour cream.
In a deep bowl, rub the soft butter with sugar with a fork.
70 g butter, 70 g sugar
Wash the eggs and drive them into the butter.

Stir until smooth. Pour in the yogurt.

In a separate bowl, mix the flour with baking powder. Pour the flour into the oil mixture and mix thoroughly until smooth. If there are lumps, you can use a mixer.

Add chocolate drops to the dough and gently stir for even distribution.

Put silicone molds on a baking sheet and fill them with 3/4 dough. No need to lubricate the molds with oil.
Put in a preheated oven at 170 degrees and cook for 30 minutes. During this time, the muffins will rise well. During the baking process, the oven cannot be opened. Take the baking sheet out of the oven, check the readiness with a match or a toothpick, it should remain dry. Waite for the muffins to cool down a little and take them out of the molds. Muffins with pieces of chocolate are ready. As a decoration, you can dip the top of the muffin in melted chocolate.
