Today on the table is a simple, but tasty, hearty and beautiful meatball pie. Meatballs in a soft and tender dough. You can use any ground meat, but to prevent the meatballs from being dry, it should contain some fat. The pie is very easy to make and turns out to be a complete meat dish.
Mix with your hands and throw it into the bowl a couple of times to remove air and compact the mass.
Form small round meatballs the size of a walnut. If desired, they can be made very small or larger. Set aside for now. Break the eggs into a bowl, add sour cream. Add a little ground pepper and salt.
3 pcs eggs, 150 g sour cream
Mix with a fork. Add flour and baking powder.
120 g flour, 1 tsp baking powder
Knead the dough to the consistency of pancake batter. Add half of the grated cheese.
Mix and transfer to a greased baking dish, here with a diameter of 20 centimeters. Arrange the meatballs on top.
½ tsp vegetable oil
Sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
70 g cheese
Place in a preheated oven and bake at 160 ℃ for 35-40 minutes. The pie should rise and brown.
The meatball pie is ready. It is best served warm.
