Today we are preparing a strawberry butter braid. It's a flavoured yeast-levened dough pastries with strawberry. The filling is juicy, but the dough at the same time, perfectly gets baked through and rises.

Ingredients
  

  • 15 g yeast fresh
  • 160 ml milk
  • 300 g flour
  • 2 pcs egg
  • 100 g sugar
  • 40 g butter
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 300 g strawberry
  • 2 tbsp starch
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions
 

  • To make the dough you should put yeasts, half of the amount of sugar and salt into the bowl for blending. After that pour there a warm milk and mix the ingredients until its dissolve. Then enter an egg and vegetable oil, also two tablespoons of flour. Next put well softened butter.
    15 g yeast, 160 ml milk, 300 g flour, 2 pcs egg, 100 g sugar, 40 g butter, 2 tbsp vegetable oil, 1 pinch salt
  • Mix all ingredients well and knead not sticky dough, gradually adding some flour. Leave for 40-50 minutes in warm place, covering with film in order not to weathered.

  • Divide prepared dough into two parts, as according to the recipe will be cooked two twisted breads. Roll every part out into rectangle to a thickness of half a centimetre. Sprinkle the center with starch - one tablespoon on each preparation part.

  • Slice strawberries and spread parts of it on top of starch in the middle third of whole rectangle. Depends on your taste and sweetness of strawberry sprinkle with 20-30 g. go sugar on twisted bread.

  • Free edges cut angled into tapes with the thickness of 1,5-2 centimetres.
  • Begin weaving from above, one by one laying tapes on the right and left sides respectively.
  • Spread with the yolk.

  • Move to the oven and bake on 170 degrees for 30 minutes.
  • Strawberry twisted bread is ready. Due to starch, juice from berries turns into jelly-like mass and don't interfere with baking the dough. Decorate your dish with fresh berries and mint.
