Prepare everything necessary.
Pour flour into a bowl, add salt, pour in vegetable oil.
300 g flour, 1 pinch salt, 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Mix, rubbing the oil lumps to get a fine crumb. Pour in boiling water.

Mix quickly. The flour will be scalded. Break an egg.

Mix. The dough will be sticky, but you need to continue kneading it, adding a little flour. Keep in mind that it's warm, so it may take quite a lot of flour, so try not to add too much. Work for at least 5 minutes until it becomes elastic. A slight stickiness is allowed. Cover with plastic wrap and leave to rest for 20-30 minutes.
Roll out thinly, to about 2 mm. Cut out round blanks with a glass. Put a couple of wild strawberry berries on each, a small pinch of starch, and a large pinch of sugar.
1 tsp starch, 1 cup wild strawberries, 2 tbsp sugar
Fold in half, press the edge well with your fingers. Turn up, forming a decorative edge, or leave as is, as desired.
Make all the dumplings with wild strawberries this way. If you are preparing for later, you can freeze them in this form.
Drop the necessary amount into boiling water. After they float, cook for 3 minutes.
The dumplings with wild strawberries are ready. The dough is soft but dense, and the filling is incredibly aromatic.
