Hot matcha latte
Matcha is the healthiest tea in the world. Its powder is rapidly gaining popularity. Matcha has a tart taste, invigorates and refreshes. Today we will make a matcha latte at home.
Equipment
- 1 cappuccino machine or a french press/glass jar
- 1 microwave
- 2 glass
- 1 mix bowl
- 1 whisk
- 1 tablespoon
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp matcha powder
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 100 ml water
- 300 ml milk 3,2% optional
Instructions
- Prepare everything you need. Choose the milk as fat as possible, then the foam will be bigger and more tender. In the recipeย we useย 3.2%.
- Ideally, beat the milk to a froth in a cappuccino machine or use a French press. But if there is no technique, it can be done in a glass jar: pour milk into it.300 ml milk
- Close the lid and shakeย intensivelyย for a couple of minutes until foam forms. Remove the lid and put the jar in the microwave for 20 seconds. The foam will settle a little, but it will become denser and more stable.
- Pour matcha powder and sugar into a small bowl (take to taste).1 tbsp matcha powder, 1 tbsp sugar
- Pour water at a temperature of 80 degrees. If there is no thermometer, just pour boiling water into a mug and after 5 minutes you can use it. Stir with a whisk.100 ml water
- Pour intoย glasses.
- Put the milk foam on top.
- Decorateย at heartโs ease. Matcha latte is ready. You can serve both immediately, then the drink will be warm, and after cooling down. If you add ice, you will get a refreshing drink for aย hotย summer.
