Mini apple strudel
Let's prepare pies from mini apple strudel. The same principle can be used to fill with any filling. The pies are ruddy, soft, fragrant.
Equipment
- 1 teaspoon
- 1 tablespoon
- 1 baking sheet
- 1 rolling pin
- 1 frying pan
Ingredients
- 300 g puff pastry yeast
- 300 g apple
- 40 g butter
- 40 g sugar brown
- 1 pc egg
- 1 tsp starch
Instructions
- Prepare everything necessary. If the puff yeast dough is frozen, it needs not only to thaw but also to ‘rise’, so it should be taken out in advance, 2-3 hours before. The amount of sugar to taste depends on the variety of apples. You can also use regular white sugar.
- Peel the apples from the seeds and cut them into small pieces. Thin and firm skin of homegrown apples can be left on. Place apples, brown sugar, and butter in a frying pan.300 g apple, 40 g sugar, 40 g butter
- Fry over high heat for 5 minutes until the apples are soft. But they should not turn into mush.
- Roll out the dough slightly in one direction to a thickness of 3 mm. Cut into squares. Sprinkle starch in the center, a quarter teaspoon for each. Place a quarter of the apple filling in the form of a roll.300 g puff pastry, 1 tsp starch
- Wrap the free dough on top, tuck the edges.
- Then continue rolling. Pinch the edge. Mini strudels will be formed. Brush them with beaten egg.1 pc egg
- Make cuts with a knife or scissors. This is not only for beauty but also for the release of steam. Thus, the products will retain their shape and not crack. If desired, sprinkle brown sugar on top.
- Bake mini apple strudels in the oven at 170โ for 20 minutes. The blanks will rise and brown.
- Puff yeast dough pies are ready. They can be served immediately or when cooled down.
