Rhubarb drink
Today we will prepare a delicious and nutritious drink. On the table is rhubarb drink. Tender, viscous, with a pleasant sourness. An excellent solution for a hot summer day.

- 1 blender
Ingredients
- 150 g rhubarb
- 2 l water
- 15 g cornstarch
- 50 g sugar
Instructions
- Prepare everything you need.
- Wash the rhubarb and peel off the skin. It comes off easily in thin strips. If there are areas with signs of spoilage, remove them.150 g rhubarb
- Cut the stalks arbitrarily, the size doesn”t matter. Put them in a pot. Add sugar and water.50 g sugar, 2 l water
- Bring to a boil.
- Turn off the heat and let it infuse in a covered pot for half an hour. This way, the liquid will be infused with the taste and aroma of rhubarb.
- Drain the water and puree the stalks with an immersion blender.
- You will get a thick, homogeneous puree.
- Return the previously drained liquid to the pot. Dissolve cornstarch in the remaining water. Bring the contents of the pot to a boil. While stirring continuously with a spoon, pour in the cornstarch solution in a thin stream.15 g cornstarch
- It will immediately thicken, and the kissel will become thick. With these proportions, the drink will have a medium thickness, which is suitable for drinking. If you want to eat it with a spoon, double the amount of cornstarch.
- The rhubarb kissel is ready. Let it cool slightly before serving.
