Sour cream cookies
Homemade sour cream cookies in the oven have a taste of childhood. It is especially convenient that you can use dairy products that are past their expiration date. This is a very tasty way to ‘recycle’ sour cream that has already spoiled.
Equipment
- 1 teaspoon
- 1 baking sheet parchment
- 1 glass
- 1 mix bowl
- 1 rolling pin
Ingredients
- 300 g flour
- 2 pcs egg
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3 glass sugar
- 200 g sour cream
- 90 g butter
Instructions
- All ingredients are prepared. The butter should be taken out of the refrigerator in advance to soften. You can even put the container with the product on the radiator. But it is better not to use a microwave, otherwise the butter will be too liquid.
- Soft butter is combined with all the sugar and eggs in a common container. The container should be spacious and convenient for mixing the dough.2 pcs egg, 90 g butter, 3 glass sugar
- The components are blended until smooth.
- Flour and baking powder are added to the dough. Sour cream is also added. Everything is mixed well again. During the process, the amount of flour should be adjusted. It may require a little more depending on the quality. The result should be a soft, but not sticky dough. It is wrapped in a bag and chilled for at least 1 hour.1 tsp baking powder, 200 g sour cream, 300 g flour
- The chilled dough is rolled out to a thickness of about 1 cm. Then, using any shape, blanks are cut out. You can even do this with a regular glass.
- The dough cuts well if it has enough flour. If not, you can add another small portion.
- The blanks are laid out on a baking sheet with parchment. They are baked at 175-180 degrees for about 17-20 minutes. It is important not to overbake the cookies, so they do not become too dry.
- The finished treat can be tried right away. And served at the table with any favorite drink.
