Homemade gingerbread cookies
Homemade gingerbread cookies are a great addition to tea on cold winter evenings. The cookies turn out incredibly delicious and tender, and everyone will love them. They can also be served on a festive table with holiday decorations. The cookies are very easy to make, so get your kids involved in cooking and decorating.

Ingredients
- 150 g flour
- 50 g butter
- 20 g cornstarch
- 1 pc egg
- 40 g sugar
- 50 g honey
- โ tsp ginger root
- โ tsp baking powder
- โ tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Prepare the necessary ingredients. Use dried ground ginger, raw ginger will not work. If you don"t have cornstarch, you can replace it with the same amount of flour.

- Mix with a fork. In the bowl of a food processor, add the butter and process until smooth. Add the butter to the dry ingredients. Wash and beat the egg. Pour in the honey. - Knead the dough. It is preferable to do this with a mixer using a paddle or spiral attachment. But you can also knead it by hand.
- Divide the dough into 4 parts, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30-40 minutes to chill.
- Take out 1 part of the dough, roll it out to a thickness of about 5 millimeters, and cut out shapes with a cookie cutter.
- Place on parchment paper for baking. Place in a preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes at a temperature of 180 โ until lightly golden. The main thing is not to overcook them so that the cookies remain tender.
- Let the cookies cool. Optionally, decorate with icing and sprinkles.
