Healthy gingerbread cookies
Prepare simple, yet very tasty and fragrant healthy gingerbread cookies with cinnamon. Perfect for a warm tea party with the family. Made quickly, yields a lot at once.
Equipment
- 1 saucepan
- 1 baking sheet
- 1 non-stick mat
- 1 tablespoon
- 1 rolling pin
- 2 cookie-cutter
Ingredients
- 80 g butter
- 2 tbsp honey
- ยฝ tsp baking soda
- 1 pc egg
- 320 g flour
- ยฝ tsp ginger ground
- ยฝ tsp cinnamon ground
Instructions
- Prepare everything necessary.
- Place honey in a saucepan. It can be either liquid or crystallized, it doesn’t matter. Heat on the stove until it melts. Add baking soda.2 tbsp honey, ยฝ tsp baking soda
- Remove from the stove and stir until it lightens in color. This means that the soda has been neutralized. Add butter.80 g butter
- It will melt from the heat of the honey. Crack an egg.1 pc egg
- Add flour, ground cinnamon, and ginger.320 g flour, ยฝ tsp ginger, ยฝ tsp cinnamon
- Knead a soft dough. It is not sticky at all, pleasant to the touch.
- Roll out to a thickness of 3 mm. Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes. If you don’t have cookie cutters, you can simply cut into squares or rectangles with a knife.
- Transfer to a baking sheet. If desired, make holes using a cocktail straw to hang on a Christmas tree or thread a ribbon.
- Bake in the oven at 170โ for 10-12 minutes. If the cookies are of different sizes, they will bake unevenly, so it’s important to remove those cookies that have started to brown. The sugar-free ginger cinnamon cookies are ready.
