German mulled wine

Ingredients
- 500 g wine red
- 1 pc orange
- 2 tsp honey
- 1 pinch cinnamon ground
- 1 pc cinnamon stick
- 1 pinch ginger root ground
Instructions
- Prepare the necessary ingredients. You can choose the wine according to your preference. In this case, semi-sweet wine was used. If you choose dry or semi-dry wine, you will need to add a little sugar or slightly more honey. Adjust the amount to taste.
- Thoroughly wash the orange and cut it in half. Cut one half into slices.1 pc orange
- Pour the wine into a pot. Add ground cinnamon and ginger, cinnamon stick. Add the sliced orange. Squeeze the juice from the second half of the orange. Optionally, you can add cloves, lemon zest, cardamom, black pepper.500 g wine, 1 pinch cinnamon, 1 pc cinnamon, 1 pinch ginger root, 1 pc orange
- Place on the heat. Add honey. Do not bring to a boil, as this will affect the taste and evaporate the alcohol. It is enough to heat it to 70-80 โ. When steam starts to rise from the pot, remove from the heat.2 tsp honey
- Cover with a lid and let it sit for 20 minutes to allow the spices to fully release their aroma. If you added a lot of spices, it is advisable to strain the contents before serving.
- Mulled wine is ready. The drink is served in tall glasses made of thick glass with a handle or mugs.
