Lavash bread pizza
Today we will prepare a simplified version of pizza. We will take thin Armenian lavash as a base and make several layers out of it. But the filling will be a bit unusual because of the presence of arugula. The taste of this rather piquant greenery will become softer when cooked and will really liven up the dish. So, we have lavash bread pizza.
Equipment
- 1 baking sheet
- 1 knife
- 1 chopping board
- 1 grater
- 1 tablespoon
Ingredients
- 150 g lavash thin
- 100 g ham
- 40 g arugula
- 100 g cheese
- 1 pc red onion
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 pc tomato
Instructions
- Prepare everything necessary. You can immediately take round lavash, or cut out blanks yourself from rectangular Armenian lavash. There are 4 sheets in total. Wash the arugula, dry it well.
- Place the first sheet of lavash on the baking sheet. On top, add a teaspoon of ketchup and mayonnaise.150 g lavash, 2 tbsp mayonnaise, 2 tbsp ketchup, 100 g cheese
- Spread it out, sprinkle with cheese. It will allow the layers to stick together. Do the same with each subsequent sheet of lavash.100 g ham
- On the top layer, which is smeared with ketchup and mayonnaise, place pieces of ham.
- Next, scatter arugula leaves (tear large ones), half rings of purple onion. Leave a little greenery for decoration.40 g arugula, 1 pc red onion
- Lay out pieces of tomato. Sprinkle with grated cheese.100 g cheese, 1 pc tomato
- Put in the oven and bake at 160 degrees for 5-7 minutes. It is enough here for the pizza on lavash with ham and arugula to just warm up, and the cheese to melt, since all the components are essentially fully ready. But if the pizza is overcooked, the lavash base can dry out a lot. Decorate with fresh arugula leaves and serve.
