  • 1 mix bowl
  • 1 teaspoon
  • 1 food wrap
  • 1 towel
  • 1 rolling pin


  • 400 g flour
  • 260 g water
  • 1 tsp yeast instant
  • ¼ tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil


  • Prepare the necessary ingredients.

  • Pour room temperature water into a deep dish. Add sugar and yeast. Leave for 10 minutes.

  • Gradually add flour, salt, and mix until a piece of dough is formed. Place it on a table or cutting board sprinkled with flour.

  • Start kneading the dough. To get the consistency right, it’s advisable to set a timer and knead for at least 10 minutes. The dough should become elastic and not stick to your hands. Grease the dish where you initially mixed the dough with a thin layer of olive oil. Put the dough there and also grease its surface with oil. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate preferably overnight. Dough prepared this way turns out to be more airy and tasty. If you are limited in time and want to enjoy pizza on the same day, then use warm but not hot water when kneading and let the dough rise in a warm place.

  • The dough has doubled in size overnight.

  • Divide it into parts and knead each part a little more. Cover with a towel and let stand at room temperature for another 60 minutes to rise again.

  • The dough is ready to be used as a base for pizza. Roll it out carefully, or better yet, just stretch it by hand. A thin pizza made with this dough is baked at 220℃ for 8 minutes.
