American apple pie
Today we will bake a very delicious and easy-to-make dessert to enjoy with tea, which has gained popularity all over the world. We are talking about the American apple pie. To make this pastry, you will need a small list of ingredients, but the result will exceed all expectations.

Ingredients
- 150 g butter
- 225 g flour
- 75 g water ice-cold

- 15 g starch potato or corn
- 75 g sugar
- 20 g butter

Instructions
- Prepare the necessary ingredients.

- Divide the chilled dough into two parts. Roll out โ of the dough into a sheet about 4 mm thick. Transfer it to a removable baking pan with a diameter of 18 cm. Place it so that the dough extends beyond the edges of the pan.20 g butter
- Spread the apple filling. Roll out the remaining dough into a sheet and cut it into strips. Place them on top of the pie in a checkerboard pattern. Pinch the edges of the pie with a ‘rope’.
- Place the pie in a preheated oven at 190 ยฐC. Bake for 50 minutes. Sprinkle the slightly cooled pie with powdered sugar and serve. Enjoy your meal!
