Baked teriyaki chicken drumsticks

Ingredients
- 6-8 pcs chicken drumstick
- ยฝ tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp garlic dried
- ยฝ tsp ginger dried
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- ยฝ tbsp vinegar apple or rice
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 3 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- Prepare the necessary ingredients.
- Prepare the teriyaki sauce. Mix dry ingredients in a saucepan: sugar, garlic, and ginger. Then add apple vinegar and vegetable oil to them.3 tbsp sugar, 1 tsp garlic, ยฝ tsp ginger, ยฝ tbsp vinegar, 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Add the liquid base – soy sauce to the main ingredients. Mix everything and boil over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until the sugar is completely dissolved.ยฝ tbsp soy sauce
- Pour cornstarch into water and mix until smooth.2 tsp cornstarch, 3 tbsp water
- Thicken the sauce with the water-cornstarch mixture, pouring it into the hot liquid while stirring constantly. Continue heating the sauce for a few more minutes, stirring continuously. Do this until the teriyaki thickens, then let the sauce cool.
- Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken drumsticks, using 2/3 of the total volume. Leave the meat to marinate for at least 30 minutes.6-8 pcs chicken drumstick
- Place the marinated chicken drumsticks in an oiled heatproof dish and bake for 45 minutes in an oven preheated to 180-200 ยฐC.
- Every 10-15 minutes, take the meat out of the oven and brush with the remaining teriyaki sauce.
- Five minutes before the end of cooking, take out the dish with the chicken drumsticks and sprinkle the meat with sesame seeds.1 tbsp sesame
- Place the finished dish on a plate and sprinkle with finely chopped green onions.
