Making the cream

- Mix until the starch is completely dissolved. Pour in the milk.250 ml milk
- Place on the stove and, while heating slowly and stirring constantly with a whisk, bring to thickening. It is important not to let it boil. As soon as the cream starts to thicken – remove from the stove immediately. Continue stirring for another 5 minutes, then cover with film and set aside.
Making the dough
- For the dough, break eggs into a bowl, add sugar.4 pcs egg, 200 g sugar
- Whisk with a mixer for 5-7 minutes. The mass will lighten, increase in volume, and become airy.
- Sift the flour and baking powder.200 g flour, ยฝ tsp baking powder
- Now mix with a whisk, trying to make the minimum number of movements.
- Cut the apples arbitrarily, peel if necessary. Pour into the dough.250 g apple
- Mix. Put into the form, here the diameter is 20 cm. Grease the bottom with vegetable oil. It is not necessary to wait for the custard cream to cool completely, still warm, transfer to a pastry bag and deposit in strips on the surface of the pie.
- Bake in the oven at 170 โ until a dry toothpick. It will take 45-50 minutes. The apple charlotte with custard cream is ready. It can be served both warm and when cooled.
