  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 pinch pepper ground
  • 1 cup water

  • Prepare everything you need. Clean the pike from the scales and insides, cut off the head, tail and fins.

  • Cut the fish into portions 2.5-3 centimeters thick. In a bowl of suitable size, put sour cream, salt, pepper, chopped garlic. Pour in the water, mix. If the sour cream is liquid, you can take less water.

  • Cut the onion into half rings and fry in vegetable oil until soft. Since the dish is tender, do not brown the onion too much. Remove from the pan.

  • Add more oil and put the pieces of pike. Fry on medium heat for two minutes, then turn over.

  • Cover with a lid, set the heat to a minimum, and simmer at a low boil for 20 minutes. The meat should be well behind the bones. Pike stewed in sour cream in a frying pan is ready. Boiled rice or potatoes are suitable as a side dish.
