Homemade spaghetti carbonara
Our budget recipe for spaghetti homemade spaghetti carbonara with cream is a great option to treat guests to an exquisite lunch or dinner without much effort and expense. The treat turns out very tender and delicious. If desired, you can add different spices to make it more spicy.

Ingredients
- 350-400 g spaghetti
- 250 g ham optional bacon
- 450-500 ml cream minimum 20%
- 120-150 g cheese
- 3-4 clove garlic
Instructions
- All ingredients are prepared. You can use different types of ham, bacon, or pancetta as the meat ingredient. Any hard or semi-hard cheese is suitable.
- The ham is cut into arbitrary-sized cubes.250 g ham
- The garlic is peeled and finely chopped.3-4 clove garlic
- The cheese is coarsely grated.120-150 g cheese
- The ham and garlic are placed in a frying pan with a minimal amount of fat. You can use only ½ tsp of vegetable or butter. Fry for 6-7 minutes.
- The cream is poured over the fried ham with garlic.450-500 ml cream
- After 5 minutes of simmering the sauce over low heat, all the grated cheese is added to it.
- The sauce is cooked for another 8-10 minutes. The cheese should completely dissolve during this time. And the cream should not start boiling. Additional salt in the dish is unnecessary. There is enough in the ham and cheese. You can only add salt to the pasta while cooking.
- The spaghetti is cooked separately until fully cooked. When serving, they are placed on a large wide plate and topped with the sauce. The treat is served immediately, before it has time to cool.350-400 g spaghetti
