Minced beef patties are often difficult to cook in such a way that they are soft and juicy. But if you add vegetables, everything will turn out as it should. Today we will make cabbage cutlets with minced meat. The dish is simple, but very tasty and tender.

  • Prepare everything you need. Peel and wash the vegetables. Cut off the upper leaves of the cabbage.

  • Turn on the equipment again. If there are a lot of vegetables, chop them in several steps. Transfer to a bowl, slightly squeezing out the excess liquid with your hands. All this can be done with a meat grinder.

  • Add ground beef, egg, sour cream, salt and spices. The ratio of meat and vegetables is about 1:1.

  • Mix well, preferably with your hands. Pour in a tablespoon of semolina and flour. Stir and leave for 10 minutes to make the cereal swell.

  • With wet hands, pinch off a lump of minced meat the size of a large chicken egg. Transfer from palm to palm to condense, and form a patty. You can give it the shape of a washer. Roll in flour on all sides.

  • Put on a frying pan heated with oil. Fry over medium heat until browned. If there are a lot of blanks, fry in portions, laying out ready-made ones on a plate.

  • Return all the cutlets back to the pan, pour in water so that its level reaches half the height. Simmer on low heat under the lid for 15-20 minutes, adding liquid if necessary.
