Pancake roll
In the modern world, rolls are becoming one of the most common dishes. Today we will make pancake roll, the most Russian dish of all Japanese ones. The seemingly main ingredient – nori sheets – turned out to be unnecessary.
Equipment
- 1 glass
- 1 tablespoon
- 1 knife
- 1 chopping board
- 1 teaspoon
- 1 sushi mat
- 1 food wrap
Ingredients
- 1 glass rice round grain, boiled
- 4-5 pcs crab sticks
- 3 pcs pancakes thin
- 1 pc bell pepper yellow
- 100 g cottage cheese
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
Instructions
- Prepare everything necessary. Bake the pancakes according to any recipe, but they must be thin and soft so that they do not tear or fold when twisting. In the filling, you can use red lightly salted fish or other seafood, cucumber, avocado. Wash the rice and drop it into boiling water. Cook until soft for 10-15 minutes, then throw it in a colander, rinse and let the liquid drain well.1 glass rice
- Pour in the soy sauce.1 tbsp soy sauce
- And the rice vinegar.1 tsp rice vinegar
- Mix together.
- Line the sushi mat with cellophane or plastic wrap. Place a pancake, distribute the rice in a thin layer, leaving a couple of centimeters at the far edge.3 pcs pancakes
- On the near edge, lay out the crab sticks, strips of bell pepper.4-5 pcs crab sticks, 1 pc bell pepper
- And the cottage cheese.100 g cottage cheese
- Roll up into a tube and, using the sushi mat, give it a square shape.
- The pancake rolls are ready. To cut more neatly, place them in the freezer for 15 minutes. Serve with soy sauce, you can also offer pickled ginger, wasabi. Bon appรฉtit!
