Equipment

  • 1 food processor
  • 1 teaspoon

Ingredients

  • 300 g peanuts roasted salted
  • 1 tsp sugar

Instructions

  • Prepare everything you need. The easiest way to buy fried salted peanuts is to save a lot of time. If you have raw nuts, then you should dry them well in the oven until they change color slightly. In this case, you also need to add a pinch of salt to the list of ingredients.
  • Pour the peanuts into the bowl of a food processor, the nozzle is a metal knife.
    300 g peanuts
  • Close the lid and start chopping nuts at the highest speed. After about 30 seconds, a crumbly crumb is formed.
  • After the same time, it will become a little wet and begin to gather into lumps.
  • So the contents of the bowl will change literally before our eyes. Two minutes after the start of cooking, a kind of paste is already formed, but with small grains. If desired, you can stop at this stage, since some people like it when the peanut paste is heterogeneous and crunches on the teeth.
  • If you continue further, the mixture will become more and more liquid. This is due to the release of peanut butter and heating of metal knives. When the consistency is satisfied, add sugar to taste.
    1 tsp sugar
  • Scroll for a couple of seconds to dissolve the grains. Remember that peanuts were originally salty, so we do not add salt. But when using ordinary nuts, salt must be introduced, even if you want to get a very sweet option. A small amount of salt significantly changes the taste of pasta.
  • Transfer the mass into a glass jar, close it and put it away in the cold. After a couple of hours, it will thicken a little, although you can eat it immediately after cooking.
  • Peanut paste turns out very tasty, and most importantly completely natural. Enjoy your meal!
