  • 50 g pearl barley
  • 2 pcs potato
  • 1 pc carrot
  • 1 pcs onion

  • 1 pc pickled cucumber

  • 1 pinch salt

  • Prepare the necessary ingredients. The vegetables need to be thoroughly washed and cleaned.

  • Rinse the pearl barley with water until it becomes transparent, then soak for a couple of hours or overnight. After that, rinse the barley, put it in a pot, cover with clean water, and put it on the fire. Cook until done.

  • Cut the potatoes into cubes and send them to the pot. Finely chop the onion and lightly fry it in a small amount of vegetable oil.

  • Cut the cucumber into arbitrary pieces and put it on the pan. Depending on preferences, cucumbers can be cut into straws, small pieces, or even grated on a coarse grater.

  • When the potatoes are cooked, lower the frying into the soup. Add salt to taste, you can also add black pepper and bay leaf. Cook for another 10 minutes, turn off the heat and let the soup stand for a while.
