Scalloped potatoes with chicken
Scalloped potatoes with chicken and mushrooms, prepared in a festive baking dish, will not only help the hostess deliciously feed loved ones, but will also become a real decoration of the festive table. Just three simple ingredients make for an appetizing and hearty dish.

Ingredients
- 200 g chicken fillet
- 800 g potatoes
- 250 g mushrooms
- 1 pc onion
- 70 g cheese
- ยฝ cup cream or sour cream
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ยฝ teaspoon pepper black ground
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients.
- Cut the chicken fillet into small cubes.200 g chicken fillet
- Wash the potatoes, peel them, and slice them into 3-5 mm thick slices.800 g potatoes
- Slice the mushrooms into thin slices as well.250 g mushrooms
- Chop the onion into small cubes.1 pc onion
- Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.70 g cheese
- Fry the onion in vegetable oil until translucent. Then add the mushrooms to the pan and fry everything together until all the released liquid has evaporated. At the end of cooking, add salt and pepper to taste.1 teaspoon salt, ยฝ teaspoon pepper
- Fry the chopped chicken fillet separately, remembering to season it with a little salt and pepper.1 teaspoon salt, ยฝ teaspoon pepper
- Grease the baking dish with vegetable oil and lay out the bottom with potato slices, which should be slightly salted.2 tablespoon vegetable oil, 1 teaspoon salt
- On top of the potato slices, lay out the fried chicken, mushrooms, and onion.
- The last layer is again potato slices, not forgetting to add a little salt. Pour the assembled casserole with cream, cover with foil, and bake for 20 minutes in an oven preheated to 200โ.ยฝ cup cream
- Take the almost ready casserole out of the oven and sprinkle with grated cheese. Send the dish back to the oven for another 10 minutes without foil to get a delicious, golden crust on top.
- Take the finished casserole out of the oven and serve with fresh salad greens and tomatoes. Enjoy your meal!
