The necessary ingredients for cooking breakfast rice porridge
  • Rinse the rice with cold water until it becomes completely clear. Put it in a pot and pour in 250 ml of fresh water. Adjust the amount of water to get the desired consistency of the porridge. If you want it more liquid, add more water. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, cover with a lid, and cook until fully done.
    Rice
  • While the rice is cooking, wash the apples, peel them, remove the core with seeds, and cut into arbitrary pieces. It is advisable not to make them too small so that the apple does not turn into mush. Place the pieces in a pan and pour in 1 tablespoon of water.
    Sliced apples
  • Cook for a couple of minutes until the pieces become slightly soft. Add a little sugar and butter. Stirring, leave for a few more minutes.

  • The porridge is ready when the water in the pot has evaporated and the rice has become soft.
    Cooked rice
  • Transfer half of the apples into the cooked rice, add a little sugar to taste. Mix and let it stand for a few minutes.
    Adding apples to porridge
