Christmas deviled eggs
Christmas deviled eggs – a quick and delicious festive appetizer. However, this dish originated in German cuisine and initially consisted of hard-boiled eggs stuffed with yolk. The classic version of the appetizer suggests additional decoration with black or red caviar, but there are also many cheaper and equally tasty options.

Ingredients
- 4 pcs egg
- 50 g cheese
- 30 g walnut
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1-2 clove garlic
- 250 g pomegranate for decoration
- 2 sprig parsley
- 2 pcs lettuce
Instructions
- Prepare the necessary ingredients.
- Boil the eggs until hard. This will take 10 minutes from the moment the water boils.4 pcs egg
- While the eggs are boiling, grate the cheese on a fine grater.50 g cheese
- Chop the walnut kernels into fine crumbs using a knife.30 g walnut
- Peel the garlic cloves and grate them on a fine grater or press them using a special press.1-2 clove garlic
- Carefully peel the boiled eggs, trying not to damage the outer surface of the white. Then cut them in half lengthwise.
- Gently remove the yolks from the egg halves and place them in a bowl.
- Start preparing the filling. To do this, add grated cheese and garlic to the yolks in the bowl, as well as mayonnaise and chopped walnut kernels.30 g walnut, 3 tbsp mayonnaise, 1-2 clove garlic, 50 g cheese
- Mix all the filling components and mash them with a fork. If you want a more uniform and smooth mass, you can use a blender.
- Arrange the egg white cups on a plate. Place a piece of lettuce leaf at the bottom of each cup, then fill it with the filling using a pastry bag or a teaspoon.2 pcs lettuce
