  • Prepare the necessary ingredients. Croissants are always made from puff pastry, so only yeast dough will not work.

  • Take the dough out of the freezer and wait for it to thaw naturally. Sprinkle the table or work area with a small amount of flour. A silicone mat is perfect for this purpose. Put the dough on it and roll it out in one direction. Cut into long triangles. To do this, cut the sheet in half, then diagonally. And roll out again. Do not make the layer too thin, a sufficient level is 4 millimeters.

  • Make a small incision in the lower part of the triangle and roll it up along the entire length. Bend the corners of the resulting workpieces slightly to one side in the shape of a crescent.

  • Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Leave enough space between the future croissants, as they will increase in size during baking. Cover the baking sheet with a towel and leave in a warm place for 30 minutes.

  • Brush the surface of the croissants with a silicone brush. Place in a preheated oven and bake at 210 ℃ for 10 minutes. Then reduce the temperature to 180 ℃ and leave for another 5 minutes. During this time, the croissants will increase in size and become golden brown.
