Homemade croissants
What could be better in the morning than French homemade croissants. Treat your loved ones to an exquisite breakfast. If you don't have the opportunity or desire to deal with the dough, then this recipe is just perfect for you. We won't add any filling, because real French croissants are made without it.

- 400 g puff pastry yeast
- 1 pc egg
Instructions
- Prepare the necessary ingredients. Croissants are always made from puff pastry, so only yeast dough will not work.
- Take the dough out of the freezer and wait for it to thaw naturally. Sprinkle the table or work area with a small amount of flour. A silicone mat is perfect for this purpose. Put the dough on it and roll it out in one direction. Cut into long triangles. To do this, cut the sheet in half, then diagonally. And roll out again. Do not make the layer too thin, a sufficient level is 4 millimeters.400 g puff pastry
- Make a small incision in the lower part of the triangle and roll it up along the entire length. Bend the corners of the resulting workpieces slightly to one side in the shape of a crescent.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Leave enough space between the future croissants, as they will increase in size during baking. Cover the baking sheet with a towel and leave in a warm place for 30 minutes.
- Wash the egg, break it into a plate and beat it with a fork.1 pc egg
- Brush the surface of the croissants with a silicone brush. Place in a preheated oven and bake at 210 โ for 10 minutes. Then reduce the temperature to 180 โ and leave for another 5 minutes. During this time, the croissants will increase in size and become golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and wait for our pastries to cool slightly. Soft and golden croissants are ready.
