Puff pastry cheese twists
Today we will make a delicious and simple snack, puff pastry cheese twists on the table. Even a small amount of dough will make a whole baking sheet of appetizing aromatic crunchy salty sticks.

- 1 chopping board

- 1 grater
- 1 teaspoon
Ingredients
- 200 g puff pastry
- 1 pc egg
- 50 g cheese Maasdam
- 50 g cheese Russian
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 1 tsp flax seeds
- 1 pinch salt
- ยผ tsp paprika
- ยผ tsp garlic dried ground
Instructions
- Prepare everything necessary. Thaw the puff pastry for an hour at room temperature.
- Grate both types of cheese on a fine grater, add paprika, garlic, salt. Mix. In terms of spices, it depends on the types of cheese used; if at least one of them has a pronounced taste, the amount of spices can be reduced or not added at all.50 g cheese, 50 g cheese, 1 pinch salt, ยผ tsp paprika, ยผ tsp garlic
- Roll out the dough in one direction to a thickness of 2-3 mm. Cut into two equal parts. Brush each with beaten egg.200 g puff pastry, 1 pc egg
- Sprinkle one of them with the cheese filling.
- Cover with the second sheet of dough with the brushed side inward. Press down firmly with your palms so that the cheese sticks to the dough. Cut into strips about a centimeter thick with a knife or pizza cutter, the length of the sticks is up to you.
- Twist each into a spiral and lay out on a baking sheet. Brush with the remaining beaten egg.
- Sprinkle with flax and sesame seeds.1 tsp flax seeds, 1 tsp sesame seeds
- Bake in the oven at 170 โ for 15-20 minutes. The sticks should be slightly browned.
- The cheese sticks from puff pastry are ready. When serving, offer any sauce as an addition.
