Apple tart with puff pastry is a French pie that is not covered with dough on top. Both sweet fruit and savory fillings can be used as filling. We will prepare a well-known and beloved one. Crispy sand dough perfectly complements tender aromatic apples with a cinnamon flavor.

  • 190 g flour
  • 110 g butter 82 %
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 pc egg
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 4 pcs apple large


  • Prepare the necessary ingredients. Take the butter out of the refrigerator 30 minutes before starting cooking.

  • Cut the butter into cubes and put it in the blender bowl. Add sugar.

  • Beat. Wash and add the egg to the blender bowl.

  • Continue beating. Add the flour mixed with salt to the blender bowl.

  • Beat until smooth. Remove the dough and form a ball. Put it in a bowl, cover with cling film and refrigerate for 30-40 minutes.
  • Remove the dough, roll it into a round sheet. If using a flat shallow dish, place the dough in it and evenly distribute it, pressing the edges to the sides. If you will be baking in a deep dish, it is advisable to immediately form the bottom, and then attach a separately rolled edge. This will result in a smooth and uniform height pie. Prick the bottom with a fork and bake in a preheated oven to 200 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes. The base should dry out and slightly brown.

  • While the sand dough is being prepared, wash, peel and cut the apples into wedges or any arbitrary thin pieces. Place the apples in the dish, optionally sprinkle with cinnamon on top. We used sweet apples, so we won’t add sugar.

  • Bake at a temperature of 200 ℃ for about 30 minutes. The apples should become soft. The apple tart is ready. It does not need decoration, just sprinkle with powdered sugar on top.
