Coconut panna cotta
Panna cotta with cream is a well-known Italian dessert. The name itself means "boiled cream". To not overpower the delicate creamy taste of the dessert with a strong flavor, but to give it a special touch, we will make coconut panna cotta.
Equipment
- 1 mix bowl
- 1 pot
- 1 plate deep
- 1 tablespoon
Ingredients
- 300 g cream
- 7 g gelatin sheet
- 45 g sugar
- 20 g coconut flakes
Instructions
- Prepare the necessary ingredients. It is preferable to use 33% fat cream, but 20% will also work, but no less. It is convenient to use gelatin sheets, but other types will also work. The main thing is to read the instructions for the specific brand and calculate the required amount of gelatin.
- Pour cold water into a deep plate and place the gelatin sheets in it for 5 minutes.7 g gelatin
- Pour cream into a pot, add sugar and coconut flakes.45 g sugar, 20 g coconut flakes, 300 g cream
- Place the pot on low heat and, stirring, bring to a boil. Remove from heat and stir for a couple of minutes to cool the mixture slightly. We need a temperature of about 85 degrees. Remove the gelatin from the plate and place it in the pot.
- Stir the cream until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
- Immediately pour the mixture into prepared molds. For this purpose, low glasses, cups, and silicone molds for cupcakes will be suitable if you want to serve the dessert on a plate. Let it cool slightly and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to set.
- Panna cotta is ready. Decorate as desired, we sprinkled it with coconut flakes. Optionally, you can invert the mold and serve the dessert on a plate, but serving it in glasses will be equally impressive. Enjoy your meal!
