Homemade banana bread

  • 3 pcs banana
  • 190 g flour
  • 100 ml vegetable oil
  • 2 pcs egg
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt


  • Prepare everything you need. It’s better to take slightly overripe bananas, this can be judged by the bright yellow color and the appearance of small dark dots. Such fruits are sweeter and more fragrant.
  • Put two bananas (pulp weight 190 g.), salt and sugar in a mix bowl. With this amount of sugar, the dessert turned out not too sweet, we recommend focusing on your taste and sweetness of bananas.

  • Mash with a fork. Break the eggs, pour in vegetable oil.

  • Mix. Sift the flour, add baking powder.

  • Mix until the dough has the consistency of pancakes dough.
  • Baking mold, here silicone size 10×22 cm, lined with parchment, lubricated with vegetable oil. Lay out the banana dough. Cut the remaining banana lengthwise into two parts and place on top.

  • Bake banana bread in the oven at 170℃ for 40 minutes. Readiness to check with a toothpick, there should be no lumps of stuck dough on it. Usually banana bread is served cold, so the pastries “ripen" and become even more fragrant.
