Homemade cream cheese

From the specified amount of products, you get almost half a kilogram of cheese, to be precise โ 460 g. The weight may vary slightly depending on the fat content of the yogurt and sour cream.

- 1 mix bowl
- 1 whisk
- 1 cheesecloth
- 1 colander
Ingredients
- 400 g sour cream fat content from 10-15%
- 500 g yogurt plain, fat content from 2-5%
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- ยฝ-1 tsp salt
Instructions
- Prepare the necessary ingredients.
- Pour the sour cream and yogurt into a deep container. Mix them thoroughly with a whisk.400 g sour cream, 500 g yogurt

- Cover with another piece of cheesecloth on top.
- Refrigerate the mixture for 8-10 hours. It is very convenient to prepare the Philadelphia cheese in the evening. Then, you will have ready-made cheese waiting for you in the refrigerator for breakfast.
- Transfer the ready cheese into a convenient container. Store in the refrigerator for up to 7 days. This cream cheese can be used for making rolls, desserts, savory snacks, or sandwiches. You can bake pancakes or fritters from the remaining whey. Enjoy your meal!
