It is better to use granular, it has less moisture, and, accordingly, will require not so much thickener. In this case, it is cornstarch, if desired, it can be replaced with rice flour.

  • Peel the banana, cut it arbitrarily and mash it with a fork to a more or less homogeneous puree.
