Peach strudel with puff pastry

- 200 g puff pastry
- 2 pcs peach
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp sugar
- ยผ tsp cinnamon
- 1 pcs egg yolk
Instructions
- Prepare everything you need. Take ripe and sweet peaches.
- Roll out the dough to a thickness of a couple of millimeters. Sprinkle the area where the filling will be placed with cornstarch.200 g puff pastry, 1 tbsp cornstarch
- Cut the peaches into slices and place them in the shape of a roll.2 pcs peach
- Place the filling in two layers, and sprinkle sugar, cinnamon, and a small amount of cornstarch between them. The cornstarch is necessary here to prevent the juice from the fruit from interfering with the baking of the dough. The cornstarch will absorb this liquid.1 tbsp sugar, ยผ tsp cinnamon
- Wrap the dough around the peaches, fold the edges up. This way the strudel will be airtight.
- Twist until there is free dough, place the seam side down. Brush with egg yolk.1 pcs egg
- Sprinkle with sugar mixed with cinnamon. Make incisions with a knife, trying to cut through all the layers of dough to the filling. Steam will come out through the cuts.
- Transfer to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes. The strudel with peaches made from puff pastry is ready. It can be served immediately, but the dessert is also very tasty after cooling.
