  • 1 cup wine dry red
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp rosemary chopped
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper ground
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil

  • Prepare the necessary ingredients.

  • Peel the potatoes and boil them in salted water.

  • While the potatoes are cooking, finely chop the onion and garlic, and lightly sautรฉ them in vegetable oil.

  • Add the ground beef, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Mix everything together, sautรฉ a little, and let it stew covered for at least 30 minutes.

  • Mash the boiled potatoes, adding warm milk and butter to them.

  • Season the mashed potatoes with the egg and cheese, grated on a coarse grater. Mix everything together, turning it into a mass for baking.

  • Add tomato paste (or finely chopped tomatoes) and beef broth (or just water) to the skillet with the ground beef. Continue stewing the contents for another 30 minutes.

  • Add flavor accents to the cooked meat filling: pour in dry wine and Worcestershire sauce, sprinkle with rosemary. Mix everything thoroughly and heat until the alcohol and excess moisture evaporate.

  • Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil and spread a layer of stewed ground beef on the bottom.
