Ossetian pie with cheese and spring onion
Today we have an Ossetian pie with cheese and spring onion on the table. It is a flatbread made from yeast dough with a cheese filling. The dish is simple but very tasty. It is suitable both as a snack and for tea time. You can use any cheese or combination of cheeses if you like.

Ingredients
- 160 ml milk
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 300 g flour
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 10 g yeast fresh
- 300 g Adyghe cheese
- 150 g cheese hard
- 1 bunch green onions
- 2 cloves garlic
- ยผ tsp salt
- 20 g butter
Instructions
- Prepare everything you need.

- Pour in warm milk and vegetable oil, mix.160 ml milk, 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Add flour.300 g flour
- Knead the dough for a long time, at least 10 minutes, if necessary, greasing your hands with vegetable oil. Do not introduce extra flour, and after a couple of minutes of intensive work, it will be noticeable that the mass has become more elastic and no longer sticks to the hands and surface.
- Cover with plastic wrap and leave to rise for 30-40 minutes. For the filling, mash the Adyghe cheese with a fork, grate the hard cheese. Add chopped green onions and minced garlic.300 g Adyghe cheese, 1 bunch green onions, 2 cloves garlic, 150 g cheese
- Mix.
- Divide the dough into two parts, this amount will make two pies. Stretch by hand into a circle half a centimeter thick. Place half of the filling in the center.
- Lift the edges upwards and pinch tightly.
- Flatten with your palms, forming a thin flatbread with a diameter of 23-26 centimeters. Try to ensure that the dough does not break, so act carefully. Make a hole in the center for the steam to escape.
- Place in an oven preheated to 170 degrees Celsius and bake at this temperature for 15-20 minutes. The surface will brown, and the Ossetian pie will rise slightly. While still hot, brush the pie with butter. Enjoy your meal!20 g butter
